Samsung Buds FE Promotion
With a Summer of sport ahead of us, I was tasked with finding a way to let customers know they could receive free Buds FE with selected Samsung FE product purchases.
Normally we would lead with the product we are selling, but for this project I wanted to make the free Buds the star of the show. What makes these FE Buds different from the others within the Samsung line-up is their shape. They feature a touch control area which happens to be a perfect stadium oval shape. I decided to make this the stadium roof which would open to reveal a world of unmissable sporting moments inside. After creating portrait, square and landscape key visuals, I then created storyboards and art directed the animation where the sound of the cheering crowd builds as the stadium roof opens.
Samsung Christmas 2023
Working alongside another Creative Lead, I took a concept of a pop-up book through to realisation. I modelled a 3D world with dramatic lighting, fun tree shapes and buildings along with a range of layered 2D woodland animals which we were able to animate to bring to life. This allowed us to bring some magic to the scene. We needed this touch of magic and an interesting camera perspective to help solve our biggest problem of how to show small objects such as watches and buds alongside large fridge-freezers and TVs.
Samsung Chromebook Go Promotion
The promotion: Free Samsung Chromebook Go with selected Samsung products.
The brief: Create an eye-catching, bold and informative design that hints at the connectivity within the Galaxy Ecosystem.
The solution: I created a 3D environment that was playful and premium using bright acrylic tiles to bring the products together. I adjusted luminance, reflection and transparency with a Fresnel texture to achieve a more realistic render.
Samsung Watch5 Pro Animation
A short animation using Cinema 4D and Adobe Premiere Pro to highlight the two different colour options on the Galaxy Watch5 Pro. These were used online and also played on screens in Samsung stores.
Samsung ‘Save’ KVs
When reading the brief for this project, one word continually popped up, Save. As a range of visuals were needed to highlight specific savings available for a short time, I decided the best way to do this was to place the word within the visual. To make the products visually interact with the word, I created a 3D world with products and extruded illuminated text. Originally only intended for use over the first May Bank Holiday, the design was so well received that it was adapted with different colourways for the rest of May, then also June and July.
Samsung K-World
A range of images created to celebrate Korean Pop-Culture that sit alongside a written history of the company. One in particular required a 3D model of a pivotal phone design from the year 2000 – The first MP3 phone of its kind. I was only able to source low resolution images but managed to use these as a reference to then build within Cinema 4D. To make the page design a little more fun and highlight the phone’s musical functionality I also created a year 2000 Spotify playlist and code to scan for access.
CUPkind
Working within a small team, we came together to launch CUPkind, a range of paper cups with unique properties where they can be recycled or home-composted. Unlike others in the market they have no liners so when they say 100% recyclable, they truly are. Combined with the use of FSC certified materials, these cups are sustainable, planet-friendly and look great. We also won 2023 Packaging of the Year at the Responsible Packaging Expo.
I worked on the branding, guidelines, cup design and visuals for all launch materials.
UCC Coffee To Go
I started by creating a concept render, then took it through to production working side by side with the manufacturers to produce this Innovation Award-winning premium retail machine – A versatile automatic bean to cup coffee machine with a customisable user interface that uses fresh coffee beans and milk.
Nestlé UK Offices
Whilst employed at a design and print company I was lucky enough to work on several projects for Nestlé including fully themed meeting rooms for several of their brands as well as break-out areas for staff at their Gatwick offices.
Coca-Cola UK
I produced Bar Fonts, vending machine graphics and several wall graphics for their UK offices and training spaces. I also created a fun interactive arcade-style unit to showcase different career paths within the company.
